Dozens and dozens of songs, poems or movies have been written or shot about Paris. So there must be something inspiring about it, even for the most jagged traveler. Paris is before Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong or Singapore, ranking first among my favorite cities. I just love it.
It’s hard to describe, but as intimidating as a new place may be when you see it the first time, Paris will let itself be approached easily without hassle, if you give it time. I believe Paris is a “she”. If you’re short on time and want to see everything, well not only you won’t but you will also not quite get it and I’m not too sure “she”’ll want to see you again. Paris is not into flings, it is into something more meaningful.
Paris sure is a beautiful romantic city. It’s got - take a seat: la tour Eiffel, le Canal St Martin, les Champs Elysées, la place Vendôme, Montmartre, le Sacré-Coeur, le Quartier St Michel, Notre-Dame de Paris, l’île de la Cité, le Musées des Arts Premiers, le Grand Palais, le Louvre, le musée d’Orsay, le Panthéon, les Invalides, Pigalle, le Moulin Rouge, La Défense, l’ Avenue Montaigne, la rue du chat qui pêche, and so much more. You-name-it. It’s hard not to be seduced. Plus if you’re into shopping it’s got all the fashion brands you may think of and those you don’t know about. And for all wallets.
Indeed Paris is very well adapted to any of its visitors’ spending habits. It’s bursting with inexpensive hotels and restaurants and public transports do the trick (when not on strike ;) And it’s also got all the opposite. You pick. Paris *is* for everyone.
You’ll find in this gallery pictures of Paris! :) |
